Dorset expected to suffer flooding this weekend as snow melts
Localised flooding could hit parts of Dorset this weekend with the Met Office issuing a weather warning for rain on Sunday.
Dorset may escape today's heavy downpours - but with temperatures set to rise, rain and melting snow over the weekend could bring about flooding.

Floods could return to Dorset this weekend
Phil Rothwell, Environment Agency Flood Risk Manager said: "A combination of rain and snowmelt over the weekend will increase the risk of flooding especially in South West England.
"We are closely monitoring the situation and have teams ready to respond to any potential flooding."

Roads are expected to be hazardous over the weekend, with standing water likely.
Dorset Police have issued advice to motorists in order to keep safe on the roads this weekend.
Drivers should always switch on their headlights when visibility is reduced and double their stopping distance.
When approaching standing water on roads, motorists should not take any risks by driving through flood water and use extreme caution when approaching standing water.
