Dorset Snow: West Dorset waste services suspended
West Dorset waste collection services have been suspended today due to severe weather conditions.
Scheduled collections will resume on Monday, weather permitting.

West Dorset District Council’s South Walks House office is open as usual today but waste collection services have been suspended.
Both are running a near normal service with the limited number of staff available due to the poor weather.

The district council is trying to clear car parks and make them as safe as possible.
A spokesman said: “Some roads going into car parks may be hazardous so it is advised motorists use care and common sense when driving in these difficult conditions.
