A Dorset MP believes the decision to award the Post Office a vital contract will leave his constituents thrilled and relieved.
Bob Walter, MP for North Dorset has lobbied for the Post Office to continue supplying the DVLA's front-facing motoring services.

The Government announced yesterday that the Post Office has been awarded a £450 million contract, lasting at least seven years.
"This was an issue that my constituents were incredibly passionate about" said Mr Walter.
