Dorchester 'tea amnesty'
A 'DORSET Tea Amnesty' is taking place in Dorchester today Friday, 23rd August as hundreds of people are invited to swap their usual cuppa for a box of delicious Dorset Tea.
The amnesty takes place in the Dorford Centre from 1pm to 5pm. Dorset Tea's master blender, Ben Hitchcock, said: "We want the people of Dorset to taste a better quality tea. Dorset Tea is a superior blend, created using teas selected especially for their strength, colour, quality and smoothness of flavour. In a blind taste test, Dorset Tea scores within the top 10 gold blend teas alongside Yorkshire Gold, M&S Gold and Clipper Gold.
"We're asking people to bring us their non-Dorset Tea with at least two tea bags left, which we will exchange for a box of 40 Dorset Tea bags. We have 500 boxes to give away on a first come, first served basis."
Ben added: "Our message is There's Only 1 T in Dorset. If you haven't tried Dorset Tea yet, come along and get your free box. We promise you will love the refreshing taste of Dorset Tea.

Dorset Tea's expert blenders source the finest teas from Kenya, India and Ceylon, picking only the top two leaves and the bud when the tea is at its freshest. They then ship the tea back to the UK and blend and pack Dorset Tea in Wimborne. They've proudly scooped up four Great Taste Awards for the blend in the last four years and gained a cult following.
