Dorchester branch of JJB Sports escapes closure as nine jobs saved
The Dorchester branch of JJB Sports has escaped closure - as it was named as one of 20 stores to be bought by Sports Direct.
The sport clothes and equipment company has closed 133 stores, including two in Bournemouth.

Nine jobs have been saved at the South Street shop, with the store likely to close to be rebranded as Sports Direct.
Richard Fleming, UK Head of Restructuring at administrators KPMG, said: "Unfortunately a buyer could only be found for 20 stores on a going concern basis.
