Decision on Christchurch Hospital plans next week

REVISED plans for the redevelopment of Christchurch Hospital will go before the Borough's planning committee on 14th March.

So far The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has received 1,500 letters of support for the application and two signature petitions have been sent to the council.

The deadline for comments has been extended to 14th March.

Richard Renaut, the Trust's Director of Service Development, said: "This development would not only secure NHS services at Christchurch Hospital but will also create 80 new jobs long term and bring a £30m boost to the local economy.
