Cyclist left unconscious in the road after being hit by car in Wareham
Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was left unconscious after being hit by a car near Wareham.
At around 6am on Thursday September 27, a man in his thirties was hit from behind by a vehicle on the A352 in East Stoke near The Stokeford Inn - while travelling in the direction of Wareham.

The driver left the scene without stopping, leaving the cyclist in the road. The victim was taken to Poole Hospital suffering with concussion.
Police Constable Gatfield of Dorset Police's Traffic Unit said: "The road, which runs between Wool and Wareham, was surprisingly busy for this time of morning and I believe that other motorists would have seen the cyclist and possibly witnessed the collision.

"I would encourage anyone with the slightest information, which may identify the driver or the vehicle, to contact Dorset Police on 101.
"I also urge the driver in question to do the right thing and speak with the police."
