Coastguards airlift stricken divers off Swanage
Two divers who suffered the bends after getting into difficulties off the Dorset coast had to be airlifted yesterday.
A man aged 55 and a 46-year-old woman needed urgent help after succumbing to decompression sickness following a rapid ascent to their dive vessel Skua in the sea near Swanage.
They were taken to the recompression chamber in Poole by the coastguard helicopter.
