THE Hotels & Leisure Division of Goadsby has reported the sale of East Cliff Cottage Hotel, Bournemouth, formerly the home of Hollywood actor Stewart Granger and owned by his mother, Mrs Lablanche Stewart, until 1979.

Currently trading as a boutique style hotel, guests are welcomed with feature panelled walls, polished coffin-board flooring and in the lounge/restaurant two roaring open fires.

Letting 10 individual bedrooms, the outgoing owners have built up a loyal repeat business having carried out many improvements in their occupation. The purchasers, a local family, bring with them valuable experience in the hospitality sector.
