Chainsaws being sold by doorstep salesmen in Dorset
Trading standards officers have warned people to be on their guard from ‘cold-callers’ selling chainsaws door-to-door.
Several complaints have been received from people in Dorset.
Neil Martin, a principal trading standards officer for Dorset County Council Trading Standards Service said: “We are also concerned that equipment like chainsaws has been offered for sale without required safety warnings and user manuals.”
