Cash grabbed from security guard outside Ringwood Lloyds TSB bank

A security guard was robbed while delivered cash to a Ringwood bank.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the offender snatched the money before riding off on a motorbike yesterday morning at around 9am, outside the Lloyds TSB branch on the High Street.

A man grabbed the cash cassette the security guard was holding, before getting on a black Honda SH300 motorbike being driven by another man.

The pair rode off up Mansfield Road towards the dual carriageway. The motorcycle was found abandoned at Narrow Lane in Poulner, near the A31 sliproad.
