CCTV appeal after burglary at two Weymouth seafront hotels

Police are renewing their appeal for a burglar in Weymouth by releasing a CCTV image of a suspect.

A thief stole cash from two hotels on Weymouth Esplanade in quick succession on Thursday December 13, 2012.

Between 10:05pm and 10:25pm, cash was taken from a till in the bar area of the Richmoor Hotel, while money was also taken from the Prince Regent Hotel soon after.

Police Constable Andy Dickinson of Weymouth Police said: "Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an image of a man I would like to speak with.

"I would urge the man pictured - and anyone who recognises him - to contact me.

"I am also appealing for anyone who witnessed these incidents, and anyone with any information about the person responsible, to contact police."
