Bournemouth man killed after micro-scooter hit and run on A35 Upton Bypass
A MAN has died after an alleged hit and run while riding a child's micro scooter along the Upton Bypass.
At around 2:15pm yesterday, police were called to the A35 between the A350 junction and the Holes Bay roundabout after reports a scooter was spotted on the nearside verge of the road.
Officers searched the roadside and found the body of a 23-year-old Bournemouth man. It is thought the man had been riding along the Upton Bypass in the early hours of Saturday morning - when he collided with a vehicle.
The road was closed for several hours on Sunday afternoon while investigations were carried out.
