Bournemouth man given ASBO and prison sentence after taking advantage of elderly victim
A Bournemouth man has been sentenced to a year in prison after swindling an elderly victim out of thousands of pounds.
Ken Sherwood pressured a home owner into unnecessary work, whereby he replace a roof of a bungalow, to the value of £12,000 at a Merley address in August and September 2011.

53-year-old Sherwood was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court to 12 months imprisonment and an ASBO.
Detective Constable Martin Farrington said: "Kevin Sherwood took advantage of a vulnerable elderly victim.
