Bournemouth boy attacked in attempted robbery in Winton
A young boy was attacked in Bournemouth as the offender tried to steal his mobile phone.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy from Bournemouth was punched several times near the Winton Recreation Ground on Maxwell Road at around 9pm on Friday February 22.

The victim was approached by an unknown man who demanded he hand over his mobile phone. The boy was punched several times, causing a bloody nose and a black eye.
The offender made off empty handed.
Police Constable Gemma Wells of Bournemouth Police said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a young boy who has suffered some nasty injuries.
"This has obviously been a rather traumatic experience for him.
"The offender is described as a white man, aged around 20, approximately five feet nine inches tall and with light brown skin.
"He was wearing a dark coloured body warmer with a grey hood attached."
Witnesses and anyone with information should contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 22:458.
