Bournemouth attack leaves victim with fractured skull and bleed on his brain
A Bournemouth man was left with a fractured skull and a bleed on hisbrain after a late night attack.
Dorset Police has released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to after the assault outside Barclays bank on Old Christchurch Road at around 3:30am on Sunday December 30.
A 20-year-old man was approached by an unknown man who punched him in the side of his face. The victim was knocked unconscious and it was later discovered he had sustained a fractured skull and a bleed on his brain.
Detective Constable Matthew mMnners of Bournemouth CID said: "Following enquiries, I am able to release two images of three men that I would like to speak with in relation to this assault.
"I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone with any information about those responsible, to contact me as soon as possible.
"I would urge the three men pictured - and anyone who recognises them - to contact me, in confidence, urgently."
Thirty minutes before the attack took place, a 21-year-old man from Dorchester was allegedly assaulted, also along Old Christchurch Road.
The victim suffered severe bruising and cuts to his face and head.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail, and continues to help police with their enquiries.
