Bournemouth Lions record third straight win in thriller with Taunton Titans
The Bournemouth Lions edged the Taunton Titans in a thrilling National Two South clash, 30-27.
Bournemouth built up a match-winning lead of 22 points in the first hour through tries from Dan Connolly, Ben Stewart and Ben Featherstone.

But the Titans rung the changes from the bench and hit back with tries by Aron Struminski, Greg Charlton and Gary Kingdom, who also kicked two conversions. But they had left themselves with too much to do, despite a rousing finish.
Taunton’s other points came from a try by Charlton and a penalty by Kingdom – all in the first half.

Connolly kicked three penalties and three conversions, to add to Bournemouth's early lead.
The only consolation for Taunton was that the three teams below them – Barking, Lydney and Southend – all lost and they picked up two bonus points.
Bournemouth have now won three games in a row, and are up to eighth place in National League Two South.
