"Alex Manning stepped in for us and did tremendously well, but it was a tough ask."
Shelford have made a good start to their campaign, currently sitting in fourth place in National League Two South. With Bournemouth visiting table-topping Henley next week, a win would steady the ship as the Lions hold seventh place in the league table.
Tomorrow's opponents will be another tough test, but Dunn insists his side are ready for the challenge.
"They're very big up front and physical, but we're capable of beating anyone on the day.
"We have to approach each game as a cup final, and get used to playing at this level.
"It's still really great fun and we're enjoying every second of it."
