Arrests follow car vandalism in Gillingham and Shaftesbury
POLICE have arrested several people in connection with criminal damage to cars in Gillingham and Shaftesbury.
Inspector Shawn Whitley of north Dorset police is asking for anyone with information about the incidents to contact the police as the investigations continue.

Vandals slashed the tyres of 19 vehicles parked in Coronation Road and Wavering Lane East on the night of 18th to 19th May.
The following day motorists in Shaftesbury found wing mirrors of ten parked cars had been broken off.

Inspector Whitley said: "As a result of our investigations we have made several arrests.
"These incidents were wanton hooliganism with no regard for people's property. It cost the owners a lot of money to repair this mindless damage."
