‘Some Enchanted Evening’ at the Layard Theatre
THE Wimborne Studio will be showcasing some of the area’s finest talent at the Layard Theatre, Canford School on 14th and 15th September, while celebrating their tenth anniversary. They will be entertaining audiences with an exciting programme of scenes and extracts from South Pacific, Guys and Dolls, The Merry Widow, Chicago, The Merry Wives of Windsor and Sweeney Todd.
Singers will include those who have performed leading roles on the West End and others currently in full-time study working towards singing/performance careers.
The Wimborne Studio was established in 2003 by opera singers Andrew and Jacqueline Foan. They love inspiring people to sing and draw on a wealth of experience teaching and coaching singers from professionals to those just wanting to develop their voice for enjoyment and self-fulfillment. They have an enviable record of achieving places for many of their students at the country’s leading conservatoires and performing arts institutions.
