Nigel Himmel and Jack McNulty, joined 11 fellow members of Alderholt Cricket Club to walk 84 miles, coast to coast along the length of Hadrian's Wall over three days last October.

Since then, Mr Himmel, guidance and achievement co-ordinator for Years 7 to 9, has encouraged other local schools including Ringwood and Poulner Juniors, to help with raising more money for the charity by having dress-down days.
The proceeds of the entire fund-raising effort amounted to £6,000, which was presented to representatives of the hospital and the Stars Appeal.
