11th vintage tractor show
THE 11th Somerset Vintage and Classic Tractor Show is at the Royal Bath and West Showground this weekend. There will be around 200 tractors on display, mostly undercover, on Saturday and Sunday. Entries range from a Big Bull built in 1915 to the latest models used today. This year's special feature is single and twin cylinder tractors, which include some very rare models. There are trade stands with 1000s of tractor spares, books and model tractors for sale and an auction of vintage and classic tractors, implements, engines and related items on Saturday. Proceeds from the show are donated to charity. Last year's event raised £7,500 for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. More info at www.somersettractorshow.co.uk
